Mask

Everyone of us has created a mask for ourselves which can symbolise our inner personality.

After presenting our mask, we pasted it behind the class as a decoration of class.

Irene's mask:
Irene's mask is creative as the blue colour represent freedom whereas the white butterfly at the top middle of her mask depicts her personal transformation along my foundation years. As a English Language teacher trainee. She said that she is ready to face and conquer obstacles and difficulties in my life.
Jia Xuan‘s mask:
She chose to put a big eye on my mask is because she always love to observe and reflect.
In many ways, this habit helps her to develop better understanding towards the things happening around her. It also in some ways, avoid her from overly judging other people because her reflection helps her to understand that what she see is not always true. This habit also helps her to understand herself better as she tend to reflect her actions after she have done them. It enables her to recognise her emotions and therefore justify her actions.

Sze miin's mask :
She got the idea of the mask from legend of the naughty mask. In the legend, the naughty mask is very playful, it will go and disturb people. Just like her, she likes to tease people especially someone that is close to her. The sun of the mask represents she is a cheerful and optimistic person. The question mark represent that she is a blur person. Sometimes, She is confused about what other people say. This is the mask that suits her the best.

Mandela Day Scrapbook

In conjunction with Mandela Day, our class had done a scrapbook and sent it to Nelson Mandela Foundation. The overarching objective of Mandela Day is to inspire individuals to take action to help change the world for the better and in doing so build a global movement for good. Ultimately it seeks to empower communities everywhere. "Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day." The below is our scrapbook for Mandela Day:

"We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference."
